Jet Forsyth

1962 - 1979

Jet, my shiny back cat, was a joy to know. She will never be forgotten and is still much loved and missed. There isn't room here to describe how wonderful she was, but one of her most endearing customs was to run and jump into my arms as I came in the door, after work, each day. I got her sight unseen, when we traded a dog house on our property for her!

How lucky for both of us.

Tibby Forsyth

1979 - 1994

Tibby, my brown macherel tabby, was a wonderful companion whom I will never forget -- she is missed and loved still. It is impossible to put into a few words how much she meant to mel. Each day, when I came home from work, she was standing on her hind legs, front paws on the sill of the livingroom window, watching for me to come home.

She was a blessing.

Topaz Forsyth

1987 - August 9, 2004

Topaz, my sweet little black Manx. I will always think of her as Miss Congeniality. Always accommodating to her cat roommates, loving, playful, gentle and forgiving. She came to me from the Brantford Humane Society when she was about two years old. Because of her having no tail, when I first brought her home, it was like having a rabbit, but it didn't take long to get used to her!

Among other things, she liked corn on the cob (including the cob), watching a video of birds made for cats, and playing with her wand toys and me.

She always had a purr ready, even when she was ill. I am sad that she is gone -- she was, and always will be, much loved, remembered and greatly missed.

She was a real darling and a great joy.
